Dream Room is a Melbourne-based Duo that falls somewhere within the realms of shoegaze and dream pop. Originally from the UK, Nad Khan (guitar, vocals) left his home behind and arrived in Melbourne – the same time Matt Webbey (guitar) ventured down from Western Sydney. After meeting through mutual friends at their local Coburg futsal league and immediately clicking, the pair decided to start working together on their own original musical project. The project would soon come to be defined by a need for escapist soundscapes and reverb-drenched ambience (with pop sensibilities), to reflect the headspace and life experiences of both parties.
