Drop Forged is a Melbourne based metal band that was formed in 2005. The original line-up was short lived and once the dust had settled, Martin Walker (Vocals/Guitars) and Brock George (Guitars) would be the only founding members to survive. Numerous line-up changes would follow for many years until the right formula was forged and finalized in 2009 with the additions of Andrew Sharp (Drums), James Maier (Guitars) and Deo F.A. Aguanta (Bass). Drop Forged have strived to achieve a new level in the Australian metal scene. Influenced by bands such as Cannibal Corpse, Carcass, Metallica, Megadeth and Iron Maiden, Drop Forged have created a unique style of metal in their own right. With guttural vocals, and explosive drumming, their triple guitar line up consists of solid metal riffage, melodic guitar harmonies and face melting solos! With the recent recording of their Debut EP Impending Battery, Drop Forged are about to unleash a familiar style of old school metal with a definite stamp
