DROPMOTIVE have quickly established a strong live following around Sydney, with their combination of melodic heavy rock and captivating stage shows. After releasing their debut EP to critical acclaim, and performing throughout Sydney, Canberra and Wollongong, the band took a brief hiatus to focus on new material. Now, after spending several months writing and recording, DROPMOTIVE are back on the live scene doing what they do best - playing shows at some of Sydney’s most iconic rock venues, including the Annandale, Hopetoun, the Excelsior, Sandringham and Candy’s Apartment to name just a few. The Sydney 4-piece have just completed their eagerly awaited sophomore effort, the “Head, Heart & Out of Hand” EP with ARIA award winning producer/engineer Anton Hagop (Silverchair, COG, Powderfinger...) which is due for release late 2007.
