Durk has been playing together for over 7 years and with introduction of a new drummer last year, after a very long search, have been writing and performing gigs at different venues through out Melbourne. Durk takes thier influences from a broad range of music, such as 50s-60s rock'n'roll all the way to hardrock and punk. With a very original sound, Durk prides itself on all members of the band writing songs which adds to our diverse song styles. Some bands that influence us are The Beach Boys, Sublime, Foo Fighters and NoFX just to name a few. All members of Durk are very passionate about music and have a real focus on continualy learning their craft to better themselves. With plans to go into the studio in the next few months to record an ep, Durk is very keen to strive to make that next step.........what ever it may be.
