Edit history

Dystoxia are a four piece band based on the north coast of NSW. Dystoxia members joined forces earlier this year (2006) and started churning out experimental tunes. Dystoxia originally set out to write pop songs with a rock edge, but their metal roots managed to crawl through the pop facade they had created. The song lyrics were never intended to be pop however, they've always been about emotional torment and the struggle for self worth. Although the band Dystoxia is new to the music scene, the members aren't. Having played in various bands for many years, they have finally fallen into their current line up. Having only played a few local gigs as 'Dystoxia', they have already managed to leave an impression on their audiences and have established themselves quite a fan base. Dystoxia are currently polishing off some new songs before heading into studio in January to record their first EP, so keep your ears to the ground, Dystoxia will be coming your way.
