Earth to Josh is the Psychedelic Rock/Pop project of 22 year old multi-instrumentalist Joshua Kent. Written, recorded and mixed from his home studio in Lismore, Northern NSW, Josh has spent the past 5 years further developing his craft since his first release in 2019 finishing school. A certain magic found in pop recordings of the late 60s/early 70s caught his ears, intrigued not only by this classic writing and recording style heard from greats such as The Beatles and Pink Floyd, but also taking inspiration from modern pop geniuses like Tame Impala and Coldplay. Continuously driven to experiment, Josh has accumulated an enormous catalog of music that is finally seeing the surface with the release of his debut record, 'Josh to Earth' in November this year. In the form of a four-piece live band, Earth to Josh has played shows throughout 2024 supporting other Australian acts such as The Grogans, Pasiflorez and The Moving Stills.
