Hailing from the sunny side of Canberra, Australia, East Coast Mendez has just begun what is sure to be a stellar international career. Although the magic usually happens in a bedroom with no windows and an annoying echo, the boys have decided to apply their talents to the zany idea of playing in public. They play a in variety of styles, but their sound is unified by an ear for melody, lyrical absurdity and a relentless rocking and rolling motion. The members of the band are firm friends, and this shows in their performances: they are more than willing to offer friendly onstage "advice" to each other when Whiskers fluffs a chord, Guy forgets the words, Mr Dangerous forgets to turn his amp on, and especially when Sally starts believing his own hype and starts doing mad freestyle raps which divert valuable attention from his band mates (he's only a drummer after all).
