An eclectic mix-up of Psychedelic Rock, Latin Jazz Fusion, Punk, Progressive and Mexican Folk uniquely and creatively compiled. Eat The Sun was created to bring back to groove to modern music and with influences ranging from the likes of The Mars Volta, At The Drive-In, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Rage Against The Machine, Incubus, Tom Waits, Captain Beefheart & The Magic Band, Miles Davis & Led Zeppelin its easy to see where their left field sound is derived. Originally formulated as the love-child of Jonathan McKenzie and Geordie Casey in late 2006 and ever expanding with a myriad of guest and casual collaborating artists in order to build a patchwork of constantly evolving songs and always providing for even more influences to push the boundaries of new works in progress. A strong emphasis and pride has been put on from the start to provide high energy and tailored live shows to get people moving and grooving to the fun beats in order to create an excellent and enjoyable atmosphere.
