With two albums under his belt, Eddie Casper is one of the most industrious musicians to emerge from the Melbourne music scene. Embodying a "one-man band" approach, Eddie Casper carefully constructs his songs from the ground up, inspired by the likes of his idols Trent Reznor, Kevin Parker, and James Murphy. Drawing from a wide range of influences, Casper's songwriting and production approach captures sounds from different eras to create a style that is refreshingly his own. “Kevin Parker had us fooled for years that Tame Impala was a five-piece band, while the seemingly-broader Bon Iver is just the sole project of Justin Vernon. Then there’s James Murphy, the whimsical songwriter at the heart of LCD Soundsystem. Following in their footsteps is Melbourne’s Eddie Casper... his larger-than-life arrangements lead you to believe there are more members at play.” - Beat Magazine
