Exploring themes of love lost, girlhood and sensuality, the Naarm/ Melbourne based artist has crafted a sound that meshes bedroom pop with the nostalgia and grit of alt 2000s music. Influenced by Bjork, Portishead, Dido and Lana Del Ray, effe invites listeners into a world that is both dreamlike and visceral, offering a soundtrack adaptable for life’s pains and pleasures.
