Ego Problem was conceived in 2017, when a narcissistic 18 year-old dreamt of making an anthem that would define the nightclubbing experience of a generation of Melbournians. Sick of throwback Thursday and 2000’s pop reruns, Lil’ Silky approached his brother, failing electronic bedroom producer Good Brother, and made two requests: “give me filthy synths, and make sure it slaps”. With a global pandemic clearing an abundance of time in both Lil’ Silky and Good Brother’s calendars, Ego Problem goes live in 2020 with their not-asked-for, mouth-running, slam-poetry-esque, existential dance music. Ego Problem has one goal, to leave you chanting the mantra of our ancestors - “Das Di Fk”.
