With blissed-out beats and introspective, philosophical rhymes, Melbourne rapper El Rameo makes hip-hop with a purpose. After a performance on LA rapper Hopsin’s Instagram Live, Hopsin described El Rameo’s abilities perfectly: “This man really raps!”. Topics of addiction and self-destructive behaviour are approached with El Rameo’s philosophical writing and distinctive triple-syllable rhyme schemes in his latest single ”Red Wine and Cigarettes”, out October 9th. The Murwillumbah-born artist moved to Melbourne to get in the studio and make an album that would change people’s lives. Living with autism, El Rameo is determined to go beyond his disability and inspire his fans to look inwards for inspiration. He is working on his debut album, to be released early 2021.
