Elijah Wald has been playing and singing since he was a kid, began traveling and playing in bars and clubs and on streetcorners and cafe terraces in the 1970s, and has kept at it now for almost fifty years. He's also written a bunch of books, mostly about music -- but he'd rather be playing it.
