Although born on the east coast, Elise grew up in Perth and music certainly runs in the family. Her Dad and brother have always been in bands, so when Elise finally decided to pick up a guitar at 16 it wasn't long before she was writing songs and gigging herself. Elise and her bassist brother, Adrian played in a Duo, The Bassics and held a regular gig in Northbridge. When she moved to Townsville at 22, she got together with two other lovely ladies (keyboard and bass players) and formed a trio, Bluebird Alibi. Now travelling the world on a working holiday adventure, Else has set herself up in Vancouver, playing regularly at the Keefer Bar and busks around town. In 10 months she plans to take her guitar and busk her way down the west coast of the States.
