The stories this Melbourne-based duo relay are the kind you would hear on a dusty porch in an old country town; mysterious, haunting, romantic, quirky, and playful. Told through the vessels of the banjo, the piano accordion, and a guitar shaped like a peanut - with harmonies that lift the hairs on the back of your neck. Elk & Whale write and perform songs that will remain in your memory, and ignite your imagination like a book read to you in your childhood.
