Ellen James, whimsy alt-folk bard girl began sing yelling into the hills, creeks and valleys of North East Victoria as a little one. From age thirteen she could be found busking the streets, pubs, echoey stairwells or somewhere by a tree near a river. With her raw and sometimes haunting vocals, she weaves and bends words with her own time to create sing song spells for ears. Inspired by the likes of Michael Hurley, Liz Stringer, Grace Cummings and Kate Bush.
