Distrosub
The sound is quiet, unassuming and sometimes uneasy; an odd-shaped window into a childhood spent in transit, and imagined histories of the countryside. The first album was made in coastal Victoria, under the guidance of Paddy Mann (Grand Salvo) and mixed by J. Walker (Machine Translations). The songs are clipped accounts of pulling apart and coming together; acoustic guitar and voice fleshed out with loose arrangements of banjo, mandolin and a bunch of other stuff.
