Two mates with a passion for producing electronic music.

Elysium began in early 2005 as a few best mates decided it would be cool if we formed a band to just muck around and play some classic covers such as Matallica's Matser of Puppets. In those times we were known as SAK and consisted of Sean Walker on Guitar, Andrew Mann on Bass and Kieran Smith on Drums. But as our musical talent grew, so did our devotion to the band, and we longed to be be taken seriously, so therefore we changed our name from SAK to Elysium (which we decided was much cooler) .Elysium plays Rock through to Hardcore Metal. Some of the bands that influence us the most are: Metallica, Nirvana, Trivium, Pantera, Arch Enemy, Foo Fighters and Silverchair. (We also often enjoy covering these bands). In the last 6 months we have grown better and better as a band, and last summer (2006/2007) got together for a week and self-recorded a 5 track EP entitled SAKRIFICE (in tribute to our old name). These days Elysium is constantly writing new material and coming up with new riffs
