Emerauld, a 20 year old Folk Rock/Indie artist from regional Adelaide, is best known for their radically honest lyrics and powerhouse vocals that leave no space for subtlety. Striving to make the world a little more Queer, their songs unravel what it’s like to grow up as a raging, gender bent Lesbian in today’s day and age. Their music moves through themes of self worth, getting comfortable in the uncomfortable and the strangeness of growing into yourself. With an eclectic style shared at events such as WOMAD 23/25, New Found Sound 25, Feast Festival and Adelaide's best cult classic venues, their sound intertwines every messy, tender moment they have lived, Emeraulds music is unmistakably their own. Emerauld's upcoming song, What I Want, is set to be released Jan 29, acting as a stylistic and personal turning point in their career.
