Emily stumbles through life to bouncy melodies and self deprecating songwriting that showcases the unfortunate romcom that lives in her mind. Cutting her teeth in the Melbourne busking scene, she showcased her hairbrush-singable tunes to strangers on Bourke street with loud opinions. Following in the footsteps of Tash Sultana and Tones and I, Emily pursues her music beyond the streets, performing with her band at venues such as The Workers Club, Stay Gold, The Catfish, The Gasometer Hotel, Mordialloc Festival and more. Growing up, Emily was pulled in all directions with one parent listening to early 2000’s pop and the other blasting Fleetwood Mac and the Doobie Brothers on school drop offs. This blend of genres has influenced her indie pop sound with rock influence, electric guitar, pop harmonies and catchy melodies that shape her songwriting today.
