EMTONES is the musical project of Northern Rivers-based songwriter, producer, and psychologist Emily Toner. Originally hailing from Melbourne, Emily has called the Byron Shire home for the past eight years. First introducing her sound with the 2020 debut single 'White Noise', she briefly paused her solo releases to lead the environmental music initiative The Tambah Project and build an impactful career as a national wellbeing expert and speaker. Six years on, Emily steps back onto the music stage with her most honest work to date. Her upcoming single, 'Weaker than the Rest' (out September 25), vulnerably captures the exact moment of her stage four endometriosis diagnosis, 20 years too late. The single paves the way for her debut Indie-Pop EP due in 2026.
