Emmy Hour may be best known as the fearless trans front-woman of Brisbane punk/rock band Army Of Champions, but she now finds herself on a new road and has set her sights somewhere off in the dusty haze ahead... Emmy has deep-rooted herself and her craft in the classic song writing style for some years, and after releasing her solo debut EP/DEMO TAPE: 'Life Of The Party Crasher' in 2014, its obvious that she is able to sit as naturally and comfortably in the singer/songwriter seat as she did in a traditional punk-band setting. Her sound teeters between the melodies and hooks of a classic rock tune one minute, but will leave you hanging from the rusty chains of a gritty minor-chord-croon the next - a contrast that is soulful and honest right to it's core. Come across her live and you'll find her bashing the hell outta a few simple chords on her acoustic guitar, her voice strong and tuneful - all the while pouring her sweat and energy into her songs, the same way she always has.
