The Palin brothers (drums, Matt, and guitar/vox, Scott) kicked off Empire Of early 2008 with the recruitment of the younger brother Scott's best mate Austin Harrison-Bray side by side with him on guitar and vocals. Struggling to find a bass player in the beggining, they eventually picked up James Currie (heavily influenced by 90's grunge adding a unique extra sound to the bands 80's rock n roll feel). So far the rockin four peice has managed to put together a hard hitting surfy glamed up grunge set and blown people away at venues such as Ed Castle and Higher Ground. But in June, 2009, Austin Harrison-Bray and James Currie parted from the band, leaving the just the Palin brothers. Empire of is currently looking for a Rythm Guitarist, Vocalist and Bass Player.
