Empirefaux is the collection of members from former Melbourne underground bands Opaque, Merhkaba, Lepers Unite & The Paris End. With each member being heavily influenced by many varied genres & artists it seemed only logical to enter a rehearsal space & work on pieces of music together. Coming from different outfits strewn across the Melbourne underground music scenes floor, Empirefaux emerge with a unique & delicate sound. Often progressing to climatic highs with booming distortion and layered effects, they effortlessly pull the listener right back down with them again amidst a soft, slow & at many times romantic ambience. Empirefaux are currently writing and tracking for their debut EP 'Xleep'.
