For this new Brisbane four-piece, the name Emu Parade had that right blend of slightly uncomfortable nostalgia. Aussie-sounding, but universal too. Emu Parade's debut single, 'Wait and See', was inspired by a late-night viewing of Blade Runner 2049. The song has a dream-like, cinematic feel and a warm, yet odd sense of familiarity. There's a palpable sense of mood that allows the track to come to life. 'Wait and See' is out on all digital platforms.
