Enemy of Average – “Enough’ cant be said”. Their fast pace moments, head banging traumatic, slow and steady melodies under crunching vocals or soft serenades, only touches the surfaces of this bands early capabilities. Influences ranging from Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, 30 Seconds to Mars, AFI, Rise against, Tool, plus a wide variety of Australian top listers give them the perfect ideas and progression to work with. Although the live performance is what stands out with EOA, stage presence of creeping sounds mixing with the harsh power of the guitars and drums, makes for an interesting show that leaves you thinking "How did they do that". They are described as a 'must see'. The Australian 4 piece started out in Newcastle, New South Wales in late 2007, initially as a 3 piece. Through 2008 the band progressed their sound and quality very quickly. Over the year, determination and love of the stage and writing still had a strong hold as they hit the live scene in 2009.
