Epic (Latin, epicus) was coined in 1589, and has been used to describe the works of Homer, Chaucer and Milton. However, it wasn't until 2007 that Matthew “Pedantic” Passaniti, Mitchell “Rocket” Reeves and Michael “James” Passaniti coalesced to form the three-piece extravaganza that is EPIC. Blending styles as diverse as rock, blues, reggae and funk, they have toured Australia as far as Grenfell Street, stunning young and old with their euphonious pizzazz and electroshock batons. In the future they hope to record several CDs, tour the world and perform live with The London Symphony Orchestra.
