After purchasing a self published book of short stories by Erica, I got in touch with her to talk about the book. After some discussion, we started talking baout music, and I asked if she would be interested in trying a collaboration. I have been recording tracks for various projects for some time now, but for Erica this was quite new. The collaboration works over the internet. I write a basic outline for the music, and send it to Erica. Erica records some vocals to the track, and sends back with any feedback and ideas she might have. Some modifications get made, and the track goes back and forth until we are both happy. I am also recording some tracks myself for this project, following our themes of sadness and depression. - Clayton.
