Melbourne chanteuse Erin Clementson started writing songs at the age of three because it was easier than riding a trike. By seven, the a cappella songs about trees and babies had progressed to cringe-worthy pop songs backed by the demo music on Window's Media Player. Eventually she decided to learn to play some instruments, and these days Erin writes delicate folk/pop tunes blending acoustic indie and intense electronica sounds. Her lyrics tell tales of all things she holds close- love, heartbreak and the great debate of Pluto's planet/planetoid status. Influenced by the likes of Elliott Smith, Feist and Bon Iver, Erin was raised in the country, and draws inspiration from the sounds of home- birds, possums, and rain. Lots of rain.
