Erin McKinney isn’t just a country singer — she’s a powerhouse in boots with a heart full of stories and a voice that could stop traffic (or at least hush a noisy pub). Born into a musical family in Northern Ireland and now proudly calling Gippsland, Victoria home, Erin blends homespun charm with stage-seasoned sass. Influenced by country queens like Lainey Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Gretchen Wilson and Lori McKenna, Erin's sound is a hearty mix of grit, grace, and good ol’ storytelling. Her lyrics are honest, her vocals bold, and her songs feel like catching up with an old friend over a backyard bonfire. She’s no stranger to the stage — a graduate of the Tamworth Country Music Academy, finalist at Gympie Music Muster, and winner of awards from Bundaberg to British Columbia, including the Kimberley Talent Search (Canada, 2018) and Man From Snowy River Festival (2021). Erin’s also a Bundaberg 1st place female vocalist and original song champ — because of course she is. For years, she juggled late-night gigs with ICU nursing shifts, travel adventures, and more recently, raising two tiny humans (born 2021 and 2023). But music was always there, playing in the background — until she cranked it up in 2025 with her long-awaited debut single "Chasing Dreams". Down-to-earth with a wild side, and driven by a genuine love of country music, Erin McKinney is finally chasing her own dream — one foot on the stage, the other firmly planted in the heart of country Australia.
