Ern Malley's music doesn't beat around the bush. The rock and roll band conjure visions of 1970's Australiana, moving seamlessly between quiet suburban streets and dusty desert plains. Songwriter and vocalist Alexander Servinis' lyrics and melodies are filled with an authenticity that is deeply visceral. Ern Malley's carefully crafted songs are very hard to shake. They've been playing and recording around their hometown for over 5 years. Having released their debut long player through Foreign Press Records in early 2020, the band have plenty of releases scheduled for 2022 and will be a big presence in the local and national scenes.
