Singing and writing music is the way I share my stories, whether it's a happy or a sad story. Coming from a musical family, music has always been a part of our family life and was the beginning of my love and passion of music. I grew up listening to my Dad strum his guitar and my Mum singing along with her beautiful voice. At a very early age I was inspired and influenced by my parents music from the 70's and 80's.... My Dad listened to The Beatles, who were one of his favorite band's along with Gladys Knight & The Pips, while my Mum listened to Carol King. Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder inspired me to groove, while MJ taught me how to sing from my heart and Prince inspired me to write my own songs. Inspiration aside, As far as I can remember, I started singing from about age 7. I joined a local choir and participated in special events at my primary school every chance I got in the city where I grew up.
