After impressing the crowd at Sydney’s Bar Broadway while supporting the Music-Oz award winners, The Kindergarten Experiment in late 2003, Escape Route have built a solid and dedicated fanbase that extends well beyond the reaches of their Sydney origins. Escape Route’s desire for the live arena has lead them to play alongside Australia’s best including Kid Courageous, Karnivool and After The Fall. These support slots have complimented the band's ever growing string of successful headlining shows, the first of which occurred when Escape Route headlined at Sydney’s historic Hopetoun Hotel after only 4 months of live experience! Escape Route's unique sound is one that cannot easily be pigeon-holed.
