Etéana is the sonic lovechild of Peter McAvan and Lana Rothnie. Eteana is one half Peter and one half Lana (put the names together and take away some of the letters). Hailing from Perth, Western Australia, Etéana blend soulful r'n'b, jazz, dreampop and electronic soundscapes to create a creamy concoction set to thrill your aural tastebuds. On November 14th 2014 eteana will be releasing their first independent album which they recorded in their own home studio. They'll be performing and promoting their album on the 14th at The Bird, supported by dreamy shoegazers Dream Rimmy, Jazz fusion superstars Kashikoi and Juke/footwork legend Henry Kissinger. The first official single from the album, "The Beach" is streaming on YouTube and will be available for purchase on Bandcamp November 14th. The video was directed and written by Perth film-maker Jacob Kemp.
