Ethan Hannay is a singer-songwriter hailing from the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney in New South Wales Australia. His diverse musical style incorporates elements of Rock, Roots, Folk, Punk, Alt Country, and Blues. After taking an extended hiatus from the pursuit of his music to focus on raising a family, Ethan has returned with a renewed passion for creating, particularly in the realm of indie rock. Inspired by the talented musicians of his youth within the community in which he grew up, Ethan's early musical journey was guided by his best friend and mentor Jake Kants, with whom he formed the band "Doppelganger." Ethan credits Jake for teaching him his first chords, and together they honed their craft and created original compositions that left a lasting impact on Ethan's musical style. Now, Ethan is hoping to make waves with the release of seven singles during the course of 2023, with more music on the horizon, including an eagerly anticipated album launch in the near future.
