Ethan Joe formed in March 2009 originally just as a solo artist. Soon after the release of his first debut album entitled "Thoughts from a year" and landing an interview with Uk based radio station "Radio Tircoed". The solo artist turned his sights to a band recruiting his former band member from the band "Visions" Eric on lead guitar and former bassist from metal band "This World" Dan on bass. The 3 created their own sound with the already released album giving it more depth. While the original sound of Ethan Joe was compared to other folk artists like Tim Buckley and John Denver, Ethan saw things differently adding a more Edge Rock sound with the feel of a drummer. Jerry, the newest member to the band add his own flavour adding to the unique sound While the 4 stay true to the sound they created with melodic vocals, catchy hooks backed with catchy riffs and swooping melody's. The sound of Ethan Joe is forever changing with creating their own style giving them a voice to be heard.
