Comprised of ex-members of the 6 time WAMI Award winning band The Fergusons and late '90s pop rock giants Hornbaker; Euphymis was a side project that has recently moved back into focus. Described as “Powerful” and “Epic”, Euphymis, the brainchild of Wane Beadon and Martin Lubcke, takes influence from 80s arena rock, the 90s grunge movement and just a little classical influence from Japanese rock phenomenon X Japan. Respected Perth bassist Grant Joyce (The Fergusons, Hornbaker) continues to collaborate. Affectionately described once as "a lead guitarist who doesn't realise he's a bass player", by X-press magazine; relating to his inventive bass lines and arrangements. Martin Lubcke's guitar work is a combination of power and rock simplicity reminiscent of Jimmy Page and Kurt Cobain.
