Beginning as a casual collaboration to test the musical compatibility between guitarists Francis Li and Alan Lemac during the winter of 2009, bassist Ben Barrett and drummer Morgan Benson joined a year and a half later to further realize the potential of the songs; bringing a fuller and proper live band sound to Euthymia. Their music tends to jump between, and fuse elements of, shoegazing, post rock and the other various strands of music categorized under indie/alternative rock.
