Even the Animals blends dusky Americana with softly gritty indie rock. The bands name comes from it's own achingly pretty waltz-noir "Love and loss". The songs are lyrically driven with shared harmonies transcending the standard take on traditional folk music creating an atmosphere that is both bitter sweet and cacophonous.
