Every Second Friday burst onto Melbourne's live music scene in early 2009. Within months they'd been asked to support heavyweights such as The Getaway Plan, Magic Dirt and Rose Tattoo and fine tuned their live shows in some of Melbourne's premier venues including The Espy, Ferntree Gully Hotel, Croxton Park Hotel, Ding Dong, Revolver, Brunswick Hotel. Initially blending elements of hard rock, pop and even punk, ESF now lean more towards a blues rock based sound and this change of focus saw them pocket first place in the Ding Dong Lounge Masterclass in late November 2009. 2010 promises to be another exciting year, with plans to hit the studio, play bigger and better gigs and become entrenched in the city's live music cauldron.
