Ex Gratia met while studying contemp performance at the gnarly Australian Institute of Music. The boys are led by frontman Tommy who is complimented by Brendo N Mick shredding the G-tar riffs, Bradskies slappin' the house down and Cracks slayin' the kit.
Ex Gratia infuse melodic guitar riffs with driving rock rhythms to create their own brand of Indie Rock. Their melodies are hella catchy, always having people groovin' along at live gigs.
The Boyz have rocked out at plenty of venues in Sydney including Manning Bar, Oxford Art Factory, the Bald Faced Stag, Brighton Up Bar, The Chippo Hotel, Parra Lanes Festival, Hideaway Bar and The Record Crate to name a few. In 2019 a festival debut is on their to do list.
Ex Gratia have been recording some new tunes to be released in early 2019 so keep those eyes peeled.
