Fabulous Dreams is the brand-new recording project for three of Sydney’s hardest-working music makers – Lauren Crew (Imperial Broads), Nick Kennedy (Knievel) and Liam Judson (Belles Will Ring). After having met eons ago in a record store and finding that they liked each other’s hair, a vow was made to form a band. Now, in 2025, the trio reveal their debut single ‘Strange Incantations’. The ethos of the project is to move quickly, to catch inspiration as it comes, and get it recorded without fuss or second thoughts. All the while, relishing in the chaos of instruments with questionable pitch, and using a good dose of Lou Reed’s “Ostridge” guitar tuning.
