John (ex-DAIS, Dreadtrench) and Siebz formed Failed Assimilation in Brisbane 2015. They quickly pulled Jay (ex-Infant Burns Klinik, Dreadtrench, Denial Repeater) onboard as the resident drum and loop programmer, and Johnny Ryall (ex-SRB Industries, Astro Creeps) as the lead guitarist. They draw influence from 90s industrial rock and metal bands; as well as dark electro, EBM and industrial music. Edit
