Farú is the brainchild of Dale Hardman and Carl Bean, two Adelaide producers/musicians with a lot of big ideas. The project started in 2017 when the two decided to blend Carl’s production and success as a Freeform DJ with the melodic, vocal-driven style of Dale’s songwriting and guitar-based production. Farú offer a fresh take on the deep house genre, with dreamy guitars and strong musicianship taking a focus, while still delivering the huge drops and catchy hooks the genre is known for. Their latest single "Strangers" is a dark track about isolation and control, with moody vocals and some filthy synths. It came out May 2022.
