Farafield is Liam Bloomfield & Giulia Farag, a Melbourne-based duo composing compelling electronic and neoclassical music that traverses genre, as well as music for film and multimedia. They take influence as far and wide as Ólafur Arnalds, Nils Frahm and Yann Tiersen to Radiohead, Daft Punk and Snarky Puppy. 2020 sees the release of Farafield's debut album, 'Silkskin'. It brings together music written over the past 4 years, chronicling their journey as composers over this time. ‘Silkskin’ is a collection of 10 instrumental pieces centring around cinematic piano and orchestral textures, layered amongst analogue inspired electronic production.
