Rhianna Jacobs, Valentin Cartillier and Jacob Gaffney formed Farlow early 2010 as a small Brisbane trio. We met through a mutual acquaintance after Rhianna thought the sound of Jacob and Valentin’s other band Dukes would complement her’s. Rhianna is the chief songwriter of the band while the boys add whatever they think is necessary to add further dynamics and feels to the songs. Having played together for over a year the group are now looking forward to adding bass and drums to the lineup. We have gigged in various venues throughout Brisbane, mainly focussing on West End and the Valley.
