Fashion Central (originally Schwa) was a Virginia Beach–raised (1991), Richmond-based trio featuring Tim McCready on vocals and guitar, Michael Hearst on vocals and bass, and a rotating lineup of drummers, including Joe Lee, Matt Goves, Hunter Duke, and, most prominently, Ricky Tubb. The group adopted the name Fashion Central in 1994 and disbanded in 1996.
