Fat Baxter was born out of the roller coaster ride of traveling and living overseas. With a single half-size acoustic guitar being the only means of composing, Ben Marnane (guitar) and Marek Ransome (vocals) began writing acoustic tunes inspired by the places they saw and people they met. Back on home soil the two-piece expanded their sound, honed their songwriting and immersed themselves in gigging. After recently taking out the number one spot at Archive's Untapped Original Music Competition, the band are excited to announce the release of their debut single San Francisco City Guide. The up-tempo crowd-pleaser pays homage to time spent in San Francisco, offering a glimpse into what can be expected from future releases and an insight into the effortlessly fun vibe of the band’s live show.
