Fawkner Walking Society hail from Melbourne's inner north and their songs are infused with an Indie sound blended with alt-country influences, reminiscent of Australian 90s alternative pop bands like the Go-Betweens and REM . Melodic guitar lines weave together lyrics which embrace urban living and stories with sincerity and humour. Through a contemporary sensibility, FWS gives a new perspective on an authentic Indie sound.
