Fawn are a dynamic and energetic hard-rock trio living on the cutting edge of the Brisbane Indie scene. Keeping a strong focus on melody Fawn express their many musical roots aggressively in artistic and explosive ways. Whirlwind tracks of dance and rock drums collied with distorted bass and grinding guitar, exchanging rhythms and hooks while dueling vocalist drive home 'sing along' tales of the hedonistic and the absurd. Having honed their engaging and powerful live show on the Brisvegas live scene over the last eighteen months, 2008 saw Fawn preparing for and recording their debut EP 'Omgwtfbbq'. Tracked and mixed at Alchemix studios (Red Paintings) and mastered by Dave Neil 'Omgwtfbbq' is a stunning display of the bands dark and powerful side. The five track EP plays more like a mini album, a rocket ride of dance, epic rock, punk and even dub, leaving the listener reeling and craving more. Check out the single Evol Danse Masheen. Now!
